Portrait of Ruffian Work in Progress Portrait of Ruffian This sculpture is modeled after a racehorse filly by the name of Ruffian. As I went along shaping each piece to be the most lifelike articulated horse I made to date, I learned more about this amazing filly and also about the unfortunate end of her life. As we always hear about the famous colts, this filly had some amazing powers of her own. Lean more about her here.
